Welcome New Faculty!

FSPA is Excited to Welcome New Faculty!

Heidi Baker (Instructor of Voice) - Heidi holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance (The Boston Conservatory), a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Communications (Assumption College) and is certified in Orff-Schulwerk Level I.   She has extensive teaching experience throughout New England and currently serves as a general music teacher in Norwood.  Heidi has sung with a number of choirs including RPM Voices of Rhode Island Gospel Choir, Central Congregational Church and Salisbury Singers and Salisbury Lyric Opera. 

Grant Davis (Instructor of Brass) - Grant received a Master of Music Degree in Trumpet Performance (Hartt School of Music) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education (Ohio University).   He comes to FSPA with extensive private instruction and performance experience throughout Midwest and Northeast. 

Matt Macaulay (Instructor of Guitar/Bass Guitar)  - Matt is an American professional Jazz guitarist and singer-songwriter. He has been teaching music to students of all ages, privately and in groups, since 1997.  After graduating from William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance , Matt spent 10 years in New York City working as a freelance musician and operating the Macaulay Guitar Studio. Matt has been associated with several teaching studios as well as private, public and international schools.  With a comprehensive background in Jazz, Classical and Rock guitar as well as electric bass, piano, arranging and voice, Matt is uniquely qualified to teach students of all ages and levels. As a guitarist, Matt has performed extensively around the East Coast of the United States and has also released three albums of original songs under his own name. 

Julie Fajardo (Instructor of Ballet) - Julie danced with Boston Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal and studied with Lynn Winslow, Tatiana Baboushkina, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet and the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.  She has taught for Boston Ballet, Walnut Hill High School of  Performing Arts and Jacob’s Pillow and was School Principal for the Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre, Director of Dance for the Performing Arts School of Worcester and founder/director of the Berkshire Foothills Ballet in Connecticut.

Sal Costantino III (Instructor of Acting) - Sal graduated cum laude from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  His regional theater performance credits include Jonathan in “Thanks, Man” and Dave in “Heading Toward Tiki Villa” (Theatre on File, Boston/Theater Marathon).  He has also been seen as George Gibb in “Our Town”, Dr. Einstein in “Arsenic & Old Lace”, Florizel/Gaoler in “The Winter’s Tale”, Mayor Rufus, Poindexter and Aggie in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”.   He can also be seen in New Shepherd Film’s film, “Footprints”.  Sal is a KC/ACTF Ryan Acting Scholarship semi-finalist.
