Summer Theater Placement Auditions
Placement Auditions for our Summer Theater Programs
FSPA Will Hold Placement Auditions for FSPA Summer Theater Programs on Saturday, April 30. Auditions will begin at 2:00 p.m. for Grades 3-5; 2:30 for Grades 6-8; and 3:00 for Grades 9-12.
Students may audition for the musical theater favorite Bye Bye Birdie (Grades 8-12), an original parody Bye Bye Bieber (Grades 3-8), and two straight plays (Grades 3-7 and Grades 8-12; plays to be chosen based on enrollment) as well as a student cabaret. All students will be cast in the productions.
The Cabaret week is July 25-29 with a presentation at THE BLACK BOX. Bye Bye Birdie and Bye Bye Bieber will be presented at THE BLACK BOX at the conclusion of FSPA’s two-week musical theater program, which runs from August 8-19. The plays will rehearse August 22-26, with a performance at THE BLACK BOX.
