FSPA Summer Important Information

FSPA SUMMER REOPENING WITH A VIRTUAL OPTION – Register now!

We are planning to reopen FSPA for the start of Summer Session 2020 on June 29th!  It will be wonderful to welcome students back to 38 Main Street.   The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and families is top priority as we prepare our Four Pillar Plan for Reopening the Franklin School for the Performing Arts.  Addressed in the plan are Hygiene and Cleaning, Distancing and Face Coverings, Screening and Requirements, as well as Culture and Behaviors.  The Plan includes a video orientation, as well as in-class orientations for every group of students.  Students will be assigned to consistently stable groups for classes and there will be limited access to the building for those not in class.  Office hours will be by appointment.  There will be enhanced cleaning of the classrooms and common spaces, with one-way foot traffic and no group access to the dressing rooms.  Face coverings will be worn whenever possible in classes and at all times outside of the classroom.  Social distancing will be encouraged and monitored and class sizes will be limited.  Safety-specific protocols will be in place for classrooms, hallways, and dressing areas.  FSPA’s Reopening Plan will be completed soon integrating the latest information and guidelines, by phases, issued by Mass.gov/Reopening Massachusetts.

FSPA’s SUMMER SCHEDULE is as published in our Summer 2020 Brochure.  There may be a need for unanticipated reschedules or adjustments.  We ask for your flexibility!

STUDENTS/PARENTS ARE ASKED to register for summer programs as soon as possible so that we can make specific plans for accommodating groups of students.  Please email  reception@fspaonline.com or make an appointment to come in. Thank you!

THE VIRTUAL OPTION FOR SUMMER will be livestreaming of classes at their scheduled times throughout the week.  Private lessons are available in-person or virtually.
