Special Ensembles

FSPA's performing ensembles, selected by audition, offer exciting performance opportunities for the most committed and talented young performers.

Electric Youth is an ensemble of dynamic young professional performers presenting the best of Broadway and American Pop music.  With the talent and style of today's American pop idols, Electric Youth presents creative and entertaining revues showcasing the talent and youthful enthusiasm of accomplished young singers and dancers.  Electric Youth has toured Europe six times since 1998 and will be returning to Europe in the summer 2008 for a three and a half week tour.

Broadway Light, Broadway Bound, Broadway Ladies, BLT2 and Lite Brites are musical theater performing troupes which perform at FSPA events and in the community.  FSPA's high school troupes travel to Disney World every year where they are very well received in the Magic Music Days program. The students perform on Disney World stages and take classes with the Disney performers and directors.

The FSPA Dance Company and Junior Dance Ensemble,  are selected by audition in the fall. The Companies meets on a regular schedule to prepare performance repertoire for FSPA productions, outside invitations and community performances. The Senior Company, featuring the school's most advanced dancers, also travels to Disney World each year to participate in Magic Music Days.

Franklin Performing Arts Company, currently making its home at FSPA, is a non-profit community organization which promotes the performing arts for students, amateurs and professionals presenting musicals, ballets, concerts, plays and more with auditions open to the community. Productions have included The Nutcracker, West Side Story, Annie, Little Shop of Horrors, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, The Miracle Worker, Into the Woods, Footloose and many more.
